The short answer? Yes. But treat it like a scavenger hunt. Big national chains like Walmart and Safeway are your best bets. Fancy stores like Target and Publix are probably closed. Drugstores are the backup angels. And always, always check hours before you leave.
But here’s the real takeaway: Easter isn’t about the groceries. It’s about chocolate eggs that taste like plastic, family arguments over the last piece of ham, and the joy of accidentally stepping on a hidden jellybean. The stores might be tricky, but the holiday is forgiving. So if you end up eating a cereal bar and a chocolate coin for dinner? That’s still a win.
You are resourceful. You are smart. And you will survive this egg-celent adventure. And if you can’t find an open store, just enjoy the day—because sometimes, the best Easter meal is the one you didn’t have to shop for. Happy Easter, you beautiful, unprepared genius. 🐰
