Brother spawned a meme. “Yeah, you go, girl” is still used today. It’s the ultimate sarcastic pep talk.
He also inspired a whole subgenre of background characters. Ever notice how every high school movie has that one friend? Brother started the trend.
Bring It On
He’s even referenced in Bring It On: All or Nothing. A character says, “You’re like the brother from the first movie.” That’s canon respect.
Funny Detail: The Actor’s Real Name
The actor is Nathan West. He’s not just “Brother.” He’s a real person who played a fake nobody.
West also played a small role in Volcano. Yes, the lava movie. He’s got a weird resume. He goes from sibling to disaster victim.
His biggest claim to fame? Being married to Bring It On star Eliza Dushku. They met on set. So Brother married Torrance… kinda. Meta.
