Did you know that the Coast Guard has a very special dog as its mascot? His name is Sinbad, and he's a Coast Guard veteran who served on a ship during WWII. He's even got his own Facebook page!
And then there's the story of the Coast Guard's " Guardians of the Sea" program, which helps protect marine mammals like dolphins and whales. They even have a special whale-watching team to help monitor these amazing creatures!
But what about the coolest Coast Guard job ever? That would be the Lighthouse Keeper position. Can you imagine living in a beautiful lighthouse and helping guide ships to safety? Sounds like a dream job to me!
