Think Target, Walmart, Costco, and the like. In my experience, these giants usually pull down their shutters.
Easter Sunday is one of those rare days they say, “Nope, we’re all going to find our matching pastel sweaters and hunt for eggs.” Seriously, don’t bet on grabbing that last-minute grill or a new trowel.
You’ll likely arrive to a dark parking lot and a very lonely, locked door. It’s a heartbreaker.
But Wait… What About The Grocery Store?
Ah, the groceries. This is where it gets annoyingly tricky. Some grocery chains, like Kroger or Safeway, might be closed entirely.
Others might pull a partial shift. You might find a sign on the door saying, “Hey, we’re open from 6 AM to 10 AM for your emergency milk run!”
My advice? Check their app or website before you head out in your fancy church shoes. A little planning saves a lot of disappointment.
