So here’s the truth: drinking water in the morning makes me nauseous, and that’s okay. I’ve learned to sip, not chug. I’ve made peace with lemon water. I’ve accepted that my stomach has a mind of its own, and we’re co-parenting this body together.
Remember, you don’t have to follow every health trend to be fine. You can be a perfectly wonderful human being who drinks water at 10 a.m. instead of 7 a.m. You can be alive, awesome, and still hate the feeling of water on an empty stomach.
And here’s the best part: you get to choose. Every morning is a new chance to listen to your body, laugh at its quirks, and maybe—just maybe—find a tiny piece of joy in that first sip of room-temperature water. Or coffee. Or just a good, deep breath. Cheers to you, nausea and all. You’re doing great.
