Maye has three children. You know the first one: Elon (the Tesla guy). Then there’s Kimbal, a foodie entrepreneur who runs The Kitchen Restaurant Group. And finally, Tosca, a filmmaker who runs a streaming service called Passionflix. They are all millionaires. All of them. That’s some serious genetic power. Maye raised them as a single mom in South Africa, often broke, but always pushing education. She taught them to be curious. Clearly, it worked.
Her Career: From Dietitian to Runway Queen
This is the wild part. Maye has two full-time careers. First, she’s a registered dietitian with a master’s degree. She gives nutrition advice. She’s been doing that for 45 years. But wait—she’s also a supermodel. She started modeling at 15. She did local work. Then, at 60, she moved to New York City. She moved to the big leagues in her sixties. She walked runways for high fashion. She appeared in Beyoncé’s music video! You don’t see that every day.
