The Crowd: A Beautiful Mess
If you’ve never been to a 5SOS show, let me paint you a picture. The crowd is a gorgeous rainbow of hormones, glitter, and screaming. You’ll see people who’ve been fans since 2013, crying during “Amnesia.” You’ll see dads who were dragged along and are now headbanging.
Expect strangers to hold your hair back if you’re getting too rowdy. Expect a random person to hug you during “Ghost of You.” It’s a family. A slightly dysfunctional, extremely loud family, but a family nonetheless.
And yes, there will be a lot of phones. But look past them. Watch the show with your eyes, not your screen. I promise you, the memory of Luke’s cheeky grin is worth more than a shaky Instagram story.
