Believe it or not, their first encounter happened because of a tooth. Actually, it was a trip to the Bahamas with Danielle’s family in 2007 that set the stage.
Danielle was on vacation, relaxing by the pool, when a friend of a friend introduced her to a guy. That guy was Kevin Jonas, guitarist of the biggest band on the planet.
She had no idea who he was. Kevin, fresh off a tour, was just a charming guy with curly hair. Danielle famously joked later that she thought he was just “some guy from Massachusetts.”

This is where the story gets deliciously ironic. Most girls would have fainted. Danielle simply asked if he had a job.
“No, I’m just a musician,” Kevin reportedly said. It wasn’t a lie, but it was a massive, adorable understatement.
