If you ever need to remove the table format but keep the data, click anywhere in the table. Go to the Table Design tab again, and find the Convert to Range button. Click it. Poof. It’s just plain data again, but your formatting stays. Weirdly satisfying.
And if you ever mess up? Ctrl+Z is your undo button. Mash it with glee. I’ve used that more times than I’ve had hot dinners.
So go ahead. Open Excel, dump that data in, and make it a table. You’ll feel like a spreadsheet superhero. Maybe even treat yourself to a coffee afterwards. You earned it.
