Last Tuesday, I told myself I’d drink exactly ninety-one ounces. By 6 PM, I had consumed roughly two gallons. I spent the rest of the night sprinting to the bathroom like a track star.
I forgot that my lunch was a giant salad with celery (water) and a bowl of watermelon. I was basically a walking swimming pool. Don’t be me.

Good news: caffeinated drinks count. They used to think coffee dehydrated you, but that’s a myth. Your morning latte is mostly water with a side of panic.
So if you drink three cups of coffee, you’re already ahead. Just don’t count the whiskey. That’s a different kind of hydration.
