Okay, I’m obsessed. But the Outback is basically a dog taxi. I’ve seen people with three golden retrievers in the back, hanging out the window.
If you count dogs as passengers, the Outback is a party bus. You and your pup crew can take over anywhere.
One owner even put a hammock for their cat back there. Cat in the trunk? That’s a passenger. Technically.
What about the new models?
The latest Outback is bigger. Same five seats, but more shoulder room. You can now fit three adults without rubbing elbows.
Subaru even added a sunroof. Passengers can pop their heads out like a parade float. Fun fact: The Outback is one of the few wagons you can do that in.
It’s still five people. But it feels like more. The space is cleverly designed.
