If you thought Ronaldo just spends his days scoring goals and buying islands, think again. He’s also a savvy investor, with stakes in MTG (Mobile TeleSystems), a Russian telecom company, and ZujuGP, a digital platform for football fans. Oh, and he has a crypto partnership with Binance, where he launched his own NFT collection. Because why not add “crypto millionaire” to the resume?
His real estate portfolio is equally ridiculous: a mansion in Lisbon, a seven-bedroom villa in Madrid, and a penthouse in New York worth $18 million. And his car collection? Let’s just say he owns a Bugatti La Voiture Noire, which costs $18.7 million. That’s not a car—that’s a down payment on a small country.

But How Does He Spend It?
You might wonder: does he just swim in a vault of gold coins like Scrooge McDuck? Probably not, but he does live larger than most dreams. He’s reportedly spent $50 million on a private jet (a Gulfstream G650) and $3.5 million on a Diamond Masterpiece watch. And yet, he’s also a massive philanthropist, donating millions to children’s hospitals and disaster relief. So, he’s either a saint or a master of PR—probably both.
But here’s the ironic twist: for all his money, Ronaldo once said, “I’m not motivated by money. I play for the love of the game.” And I believe him—but only about 30%. The other 70%? That’s the thrill of seeing your bank account hit a new digit every month.
