Once you click “Save,” Facebook doesn’t change it instantly. You go into a pending period. This is their “cooling-down” phase, like when you put a pizza in the oven and pray you don’t burn it. You’ll get a notification saying the change is under review.

The review usually takes a few hours to a day. For bigger groups, it might take longer. Use this time to write a post telling your members: “Hey, the name is changing. Don’t panic. We’re not being hacked—I just had a spiritual awakening about fruit.”
