Head over to the New Jersey MVC website and grab Form ST-3 (or ST-4 for temporary). It’s a two-page document that’s easier than assembling IKEA furniture. Your doctor signs it, you sign it, and then you mail it or drop it off at your local MVC agency.
Here’s the best part: you don’t even need a New Jersey driver’s license to apply. You can be a passenger, a visitor, or even a caregiver for a disabled child. The state just wants to get that placard in your hands ASAP. How nice is that?
