This sounds obvious, but it’s the most important step. Your water bill usually has a website URL printed right on the statement—somewhere near the top or bottom. It might look like “yourcitywater.com” or “acmewaterbills.com.”
If you can’t find it, just Google “[Your City] water bill pay.” Make sure you click on the official government or utility company link. Avoid sketchy-looking ads that promise to “pay your bill for a fee.” Those are traps, my friend.
