Grab a soft-bristle brush—the kind with natural boar bristles if you’ve got one. Brush from your scalp down to the ends every day. This spreads your scalp’s natural oils (sebum) down the hair shaft, moisturizing both your head and your strands.
It also sloughs off dead skin cells before they turn into snowflakes. Just clean your brush weekly. Nobody wants a brush forest of dead skin and lint. You’re welcome for that mental image.
