Locate the starter. It’s usually near the bottom of the engine, bolted to the transmission. It looks like a metal can with a thick wire bolted on.

That thick wire is the main power feed. Set your multimeter to DC voltage. Touch the red probe to that big bolt, black probe to engine metal (ground).
Have a friend turn the key to “start.” If you see 12+ volts on that wire, power is arriving. If you see zero or less than 10 volts, the wire or battery connection is rotten.
