First up, we have the queen of the castle herself, the one, the only, Nadia Sawalha. Remember when she literally screamed at a kangaroo testicle? Iconic. She’s back, and I’m betting she’ll bring a whole new level of dramatic storytelling to the Bush Telegraph.
Then there’s Jake Quickenden, who basically won the jungle by being a lovably sweaty golden retriever. He’s got a kid now, so his survival strategy might actually involve thinking before he acts. That would be a first, and I’m here for it.
And of course, we can’t forget the one and only Myleene Klass. The woman has survived more jungle trials than most soldiers. She’s basically immune to spiders at this point. I bet she’ll just sit there calmly while a Tarantula uses her face as a speed bump.
The New Friction (Because We Love Drama)
Here’s where it gets juicy. They’re putting Shaun Ryder back in. The man is a living, mumbling, chaotic force of nature. He’s the guy who eats a witchetty grub, laughs, and then accidentally invents a new genre of music. Pure gold.
And to balance his chaos, they’re bringing in Gillian McKeith. Yes, that Gillian. The fainting one. The one who looks at a bug like it insulted her grandmother. The producers are clearly hoping for a repeat of the “Shaun vs. Gillian” feud from 2010. I’ve already got my popcorn ready.
Oh, and let’s not sleep on Joe Swash. He’s basically the camp’s emotional support golden retriever now. He’ll probably spend the whole time making bad puns and trying to hug everyone. It’s going to be adorable and slightly unhinged.
