Finn dies in Season 6, Episode 24: “The Comet.” It’s profound, it’s silly, and it ends with a giant space deer eating his ghost. If you want to watch it, skip the first 10 minutes of Finn complaining about his lost shoe—that’s filler. Fast-forward to the explosion scene, grab tissues for the soulful chat with a comet, and then laugh as he literally falls out of the sky butt-naked back into Ooo.
And remember: In Adventure Time, death is just a really inconvenient bus ride. Finn will always come back, usually with a snack. Now go watch the episode, and try not to cry into your cereal. I dare you.
