You absolutely can walk where your favourite characters have walked. Palm Beach is open to the public, and it’s gorgeous. Just don’t expect a sign that says “Welcome to Summer Bay.”
Local tour companies even run “Home and Away” location tours. You’ll see the famous surf club, the pier, and the beach house exterior. It’s a little bit like stepping into a postcard that happens to have plot lines.
Pro tip: Go on a weekday to avoid crowds. Bring a picnic, pretend you’re in a slow-motion beach run, and try not to break into theme song lyrics out loud. (Or do—we won’t judge.)
