Nope. No Season 8. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Younger officially ended with Season 7, which aired back in 2026. I know, I know—it feels like we just got attached to Liza’s lies and Kelsey’s power suits.
But wait, before you throw your phone across the room, let me explain why it’s done. The show wrapped up its story. Creator Darren Star said it was always meant to be a seven-season arc. Seven being the lucky number? Or just a convenient way to make us all emotionally unstable?
But Didn’t They Leave It Open?
Oh, they totally did. The finale was a masterclass in frustrating ambiguity. Liza finally chose Josh? Or Charles? Or neither? Honestly, I’m still not sure, and I’ve rewatched it three times. It felt like a cliffhanger, a little “to be continued” wink.
But here’s the brutal truth: TV Land, the network that aired it, decided to pull the plug. No renewal. No surprise greenlight. Just a collective “thanks for watching, now go read a book.” Harsh, right?
