Enter Olaf, the snowman who dreams of summer. Yes, a living snowman who wants to bask in the sun. That’s like a vampire opening a tanning salon. But Olaf’s cluelessness is pure gold—he’s innocent, hilarious, and somehow the wisest character in the whole movie.

“Some people are worth melting for,” he says, and I’m not crying, you’re crying. Olaf represents the joy of seeing the world with fresh eyes. He loves warm hugs, thinks magic is normal, and never holds a grudge. If we all had Olaf’s attitude, the world would be a lot more fun—and covered in fewer icicles.
Then there’s Kristoff, the rugged ice harvester with a heart of gold. He’s basically a mountain man with good hygiene (once Anna introduces him to a sauna). Kristoff is the guy who thinks “you’re beautiful” is a weird thing to say, but he’ll wrestle a giant snow monster for you.
His sidekick is Sven, a reindeer who acts more like a golden retriever. Sven communicates entirely through grunts and eye-rolls, yet we understand him perfectly. He’s the friend who sticks with you even when you’re being a grumpy jerk—basically, the MVP of the group.
The Villains (Because Every Good Story Needs One)
We have to talk about Hans, the prince who fooled everyone. He’s the guy who sings a love song with you, then casually tries to murder your sister and take over your kingdom. Talk about a bad Tinder date.
Hans is the perfect villain because he’s realistic. He’s not a fire-breathing monster; he’s a manipulative dude with a charming smile. It’s a sneaky reminder that not all villains wear black—some wear princely suits and pretend to love you.
Then there’s the marshmallow giant, who is honestly just doing his job. Elsa creates him as a guard, and he’s terrifying, but also kind of a softie? He literally gets thrown off a cliff and comes back for more. Respect the hustle, big guy.
