Here's something that'll make you go "huh, I didn't know that!": the oldest nuclear power plant in the United States is the Fort Calhoun Nuclear Generating Station in Nebraska, which has been running since 1973! That's even older than some of the video games we used to play as kids.
And, did you know that some nuclear power plants have really cool names? Like, there's the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant in Georgia, which sounds like something out of a science fiction movie. Or the Seabrook Station Nuclear Power Plant in New Hampshire, which has a nice ring to it.
