Here’s my advice. Get snacks. Good ones. Not celery.
Top NCAA Softball Regionals to Watch: Just a Minute
Have a backup bracket for when your first one dies. Print it out. Scribble on it. It feels vintage.
And watch the games with a friend who understands the sacrifice. You need someone to gaslight you. “Of course that was a strike, why are you yelling?” See? Perfect partner.
The Regional Final (The Real Final)
Let’s talk about the Sunday games. The regional final. It’s the best day of the year.
One game. The winner goes to the Super Regional. The loser goes home. The stakes are sky-high. The pitch clock? Forget it. The tension is thick enough to swing a bat through.
You’ll see a star pitcher throw 200 pitches. You’ll see a freshman hit a walk-off home run. You will scream.
It’s okay. The neighbors understand. (They don’t, but who cares?)
