Broadway Plaza sits right on Ladywood Middleway. It’s a roundabout nightmare if you’re driving. You’ll loop it three times muttering, “Where is the entrance?”
But once you find it? Pure gold. You’re right next to the canal. You can literally stumble out of a 9pm show and walk along the water, pretending you’re in Venice.

Pro tip: Go early. Walk to the nearby Brindleyplace. Grab a pint. Then wander back for your film. It’s a whole evening, not just a movie.
The Quirks: Things Nobody Warns You About
First: the silence is deafening. This Luxe is so plush, so padded, that even coughs sound polite. Someone crinkling a sweet wrapper is a scandal.
Second: the screens are huge. I mean enormous. You sit in row H and still feel like you’re in the front row. Your neck will thank you later.
Third: there’s a weird upstairs area. It feels exclusive. Forbidden. Like you need a secret handshake to sit there. Spoiler: you don’t. Just buy a ticket.
