Don’t overthink this. Pick a mood and run with it.
If you want a laugh, try “Upstart Crow”, a comedy about Shakespeare that Dimsdale pops up in. It’s silly, fast-paced, and perfect for a Friday night after a tough week. If you want a cry, go straight to “Les Misérables”—his role is small but devastating.
And if you just want to relax, put on an episode of “Silent Witness” (he’s been on a few times). It’s like catching up with an old friend who always gets caught up in a mystery.
The best part? You can watch any of these shows while folding laundry or eating cereal for dinner. No judgment. That’s the Dimsdale way—accessible, easy, and always worth your time.
The Takeaway
Next time you’re scrolling, stop when you see his face. He might not be the lead, but he’s the guy who makes the leads look good. It’s like the wingman who helps your friend nail a job interview—underrated, but essential.
So go ahead. Give Oliver Dimsdale a shot. Pour a cup of tea, grab a cozy blanket, and let him do the heavy lifting. You’ll smile, you’ll recognize his face, and you’ll wonder why you didn’t notice him sooner.
That’s the whole point, right? Finding those little gems that make our ordinary evenings feel a bit more special.
