The gameplay loop is super simple: you choose your plant or zombie class, like the Peashooter or the Foot Soldier, and jump into a multiplayer match. You'll be fighting against the other team, trying to capture objectives or just surviving as long as you can. It's easy to pick up, but hard to master, which makes it really addictive.
The plants and zombies have unique abilities that make each class feel special - like the Chomper, a plant that can swallow zombies whole, or the Imp, a zombie that can zip around the map on a zombie-sized rocket pack. The classes are all about balance, so you need to work with your team to take down the enemy. You can play as a team, or just go solo and see how long you can last.
