If you want a Pokémon that breaks the game’s own rules, look no further than Mega Rayquaza. This dragon-flying type doesn’t even need a Mega Stone—it uses a special move called Dragon Ascent to mega evolve.
Its base stat total jumps to a staggering 780, making it the highest of any non-Legendary creature. It has the ability Delta Stream, which negates all flying-type weaknesses, including ice and rock.
Practical tip: If you ever face a Mega Rayquaza in a competitive battle, bring a bulky Fairy-type like Togekiss or Primarina. That dragon-slaying fairy energy is your only hope.
