An ox’s head is wide and blocky, with a broad, flat forehead that looks like it could break a fence post. On top of that head sit the horns—and these aren’t tiny nubs. Ox horns curve outward and then up, often growing to impressive lengths. You’ll find them in shades from pale white to charcoal gray, and sometimes they have a cool, twisted spiral pattern.
Those big, dark eyes are calm and curious, set wide apart. It’s an expression that says, “I’ve seen a lot of seasons, and I’m not easily impressed.” And the nose? A soft, wet, leathery muzzle that they use to explore everything—kind of like a dog’s nose, but on a much larger scale.
