We've all been there - tempted to use a fun font to make our paper more interesting. But trust us, it's not worth it! Using the wrong font can make your paper look unprofessional and even lazy. And, let's be real, you don't want to give your professor any reason to deduct points.
So, what happens if you use the wrong font? Well, it's not the end of the world, but it's definitely not ideal. Your professor might dock points for not following the guidelines, or worse, they might not even read your paper. Ouch! To avoid this, just stick to the MLA guidelines and use a font that's tried and true.
