Did you know Westfield Stratford has a 24-hour supermarket? Yes, Asda inside the mall stays open all night. Need to buy milk at 3:00 AM? You can. But the fashion stores are locked tighter than a drum. You can’t buy a dress at midnight. Only cereal. Priorities, people.
What Time Do The Shops Close In Westfield Stratford at Randall Graves blog
Another fun fact: The cinema, Vue, shows late films. They close around 11:00 PM or later. So you can watch a movie, then walk through a ghost mall. It’s eerie. The escalators stop. The lights dim. It feels like a scene from a zombie film. Just you and that one security guard.
The Bank Holiday Chaos
Holidays are a minefield. On Easter Monday, some shops close at 5:00 PM. Others don’t open at all. It’s like the mall throws a dice. Your best bet? Check the Westfield website before you go. Or just accept you’ll be wandering around a half-closed shopping centre like a ghost. Very romantic.
Christmas Eve is even wilder. Most shops close at 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM. You’re rushing, sweating, and buying a “Congratulations on Surviving 2026” card. Timing is a sport.
