The first thing you need to know is that the Niners don’t have a standard game time. The NFL loves to shuffle things around. One week you’re waking up for a 10:00 AM Pacific kickoff, and the next you’re waiting until 5:20 PM for a Sunday Night Football slot.
Today’s game could be a crisp 1:00 PM start, or a late-night flex. You really have to check the official schedule. Don’t rely on your memory from last week—that’s a trap, my friend. I once showed up at a bar at noon for a 5:00 PM game. The bartender gave me a look of pure pity.
Your smartphone is your best friend (and worst enemy)
Here’s the trick: open your phone, type “San Francisco 49ers schedule” into Google. It will show you the exact time, converted to your local time zone. No math needed. No fumbling with time zone converters, which I swear are designed to confuse us.
But careful with those sports apps! Sometimes they show the game time in Eastern Time, and you forget you’re on the West Coast. Then you miss the first quarter. It has happened to me more times than I care to admit. Don’t trust the app blindly.
