In South Korea, men are required to serve in the military for approximately 18-21 months, depending on their role and branch of service. This means that Jk will have to take a break from his music career to fulfill his military duties. But don't worry, fans, this doesn't mean the end of BTS - the group will likely continue to produce music and perform with the remaining members!
Now, you might be wondering, when exactly will Jk be heading to the army? The answer is, it's not entirely clear just yet! The Korean government has a system in place for deciding when and how men are enlisted, and Jk's team is likely working closely with the authorities to determine the best time for his enlistment.
But here's the thing, ARMY (that's what BTS fans are called, by the way!) - Jk's military service can actually be a positive experience for him and the group! It's a chance for him to grow as a person, learn new skills, and come back to his music career with fresh eyes and ears. And who knows, maybe he'll even write some new songs inspired by his time in the army!
