Let’s hop over to Ethiopia for a moment. Their ancient text, the Book of Adam and Eve, has a wild answer. It says Adam died, and his body was preserved in a special place until Noah.
Noah then carried Adam’s remains onto the ark. Yes, he was a stowaway coffin. And after the flood? They supposedly buried him in Jerusalem again.
Talk about a long commute. Adam’s corpse had more travel miles than most of us.

What About Eve? She’s the Real Mystery
Eve gets the short end of the burial stick. Most traditions just say she was with Adam. But a few tales claim she’s buried in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Jeddah literally means “ancestor” or “grandmother” in Arabic. There used to be a tomb of Eve there—a long, 500-foot grave. It was a tourist spot until the 1920s, when the Saudi government closed it. Too much idol worship, they said.
I find that hilarious. Imagine closing a grave because people are too interested.
