So, Vrabel spent a few seasons with the Texans, helping to shape their defense and learning the ins and outs of coaching in the NFL. It's kind of like being an intern, but instead of fetching coffee, you're teaching giant, athletic men how to tackle each other. Not an easy job, but someone's gotta do it!
But Vrabel didn't stay with the Texans forever - in 2016, he made the move to the Tennessee Titans as their defensive coordinator. Now, this is where things start to get really interesting, because the Titans were (and still are) a team on the rise, with a ton of young talent and a lot of potential. Vrabel was tasked with unlocking that potential and turning the Titans into a defensive powerhouse.
And, yeah, he did a pretty great job - the Titans started to look like a real force to be reckoned with, and Vrabel's defense was a big part of that. It's like he took a bunch of talented players and turned them into a well-oiled machine, working together seamlessly to shut down opposing teams. Not bad for a guy who was still relatively new to coaching, right?
