Let’s meet the victims, because they deserve a proper obituary—with sass.
We Were Liars: Who All Die When Cady Burns Down the House?
Gat Patil. The charismatic, poetic outsider. He was Cadence’s boyfriend and the only non-white person in the Sinclair family’s inner circle. He was smart, angry, and totally hot. He died trying to save everyone. What a hero. What a bummer.
Johnny Sinclair. The funny, golden-boy cousin. He was the life of the party, always joking, always charming. He died at 17. That’s just unfair. He probably told a joke right before the wave hit.
Mirren Sinclair. The sweet, quiet twin sister. She was fragile, gentle, and loved Cadence like a real sister. Her death is especially heartbreaking because she knew she was dying. She whispered, “We are the Liars,” as she went under. Ouch.
