You might be wondering, why do K-pop idols have to enlist in the military? It's because, in South Korea, all able-bodied men are required to serve in the military for about 18-21 months. It's a patriotic duty that's taken very seriously in the country, and BTS is no exception!
Now, you might be thinking, "What about the other members?" Don't worry, we've got you covered! J-Hope has also enlisted in the military, and we're expecting the other members to follow suit soon. It's a bittersweet moment for fans, but we're all about supporting our boys as they fulfill their civic duty!
