You might be thinking, “Cool, but I don’t read romance novels or listen to audiobooks.” Fair enough! But here’s the thing: this topic is a masterclass in the joy of finding your “thing.” Whether you’re into sports rivals, epic friendships, or just watching someone grow through conflict, Hayden’s story is a reminder that life’s best moments come from unexpected places.
And if you do decide to check out the audiobook, you’ll be supporting independent art in a big way. That’s a fun reason to hit play—and a great conversation starter at your next book club or coffee date.
Fun Fact: The Audition That Almost Wasn’t
Rumor has it that Michael Rishawn nearly passed on the audition because he thought the script was a joke. Can you imagine? The universe almost gave us a different Hayden, but luckily, he gave it a chance and completely fell in love with the character’s complexity.
So, if you ever feel like skipping an opportunity—whether it’s a new hobby, a podcast, or even a different genre of music—remember this story. Sometimes the best things are hiding just one “yes” away.
