Here’s the wild part. Multiple characters survive as hybrids. Cheong-san, Nam-ra, and Su-hyeok are the poster children. They can control their zombie instincts, but they’re stuck in limbo. They’re alive, but they’ll never go back to normal.
There’s also Gwi-nam, the main villain. He’s a hybrid, too, but he’s pure evil. He survives until the final battle, where Nam-ra pummels him into a pulp. Finally, some justice.
The Dead Ones: Pour One Out
We lost some good ones. Yoon Gwi-nam? Okay, he deserved it. But Lee Na-yeon? She had a redemption arc and still got bitten. Poetic, really.
