Will the police do anything? Probably not. They have bigger fish to fry, like solving who stole the traffic cone from Main Street. Weed is, for most urban and suburban cops, a nuisance, not a crisis.
Your best bet is to lean into the absurdity. You live next to a human campfire. It’s annoying, but it’s also hilarious. Use it as a party story: “My neighbor’s so chill, the cops won’t even write him a ticket.”
And if all else fails? Buy an air purifier. Or start charging admission. “Come smell the weed guy, $5 a whiff!” You might just start a weird local business. I’m not judging.
So relax. The police aren’t coming. But if they do, they’ll probably ask your neighbor for a light first.
