In Italy, pasta is protected by law. Real Italian pasta cannot have added sugar. It’s a cultural crime to even think about it. They’d sooner put pineapple on pizza (okay, maybe not that extreme).
So if you buy pasta imported from Italy, you’re basically eating a freedom noodle. No sugar, just tradition.
